1. Access data and hosting
You may visit our website without revealing any personal information. With every visit, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file which contains e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the request, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the request. These access data are analysed exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the website (including defence against attacks) and improving our offer. This serves the protection of our legitimate interests in the proper presentation of our offer that are overriding in the process of balancing of interests according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. All access data are processed only as long as necessary for these purposes.
The website is hosted by a hosting provider based in Germany, which processes the access data and the data submitted via the forms on this website on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). If you have any questions about our service provider, please use the contact option described in this privacy policy.
2. Contacting us
We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it when contacting us (e.g. via contact or enquiry form or e-mail). Mandatory fields are marked as such because in these cases we necessarily need the data to process your enquiry. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process your enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We receive the information from the forms by e-mail; in addition, it is stored in the database of this website and automatically deleted there after three months. After your enquiry has been fully processed, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or statutory retention obligations apply (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
3. Cookies and consent
To enable certain functions, we use technologies on various pages, including so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your end device. Some cookies are deleted at the end of the browser session (session cookies), others remain on your end device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Where technologies are strictly necessary to provide the service you have expressly requested, storing information on your end device or accessing it does not require consent (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). We only use all other technologies with your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
We store your choice in the “Privacy settings” window in a cookie in your browser (storage period 182 days) so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. The software used for this (Klaro) runs on our own web space; no data is transferred to third parties. This storage is permitted without consent under Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG; the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR.
You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future, either by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via this link: open privacy settings. The data collected in this context will be deleted once the purpose has ceased and we have stopped using the respective service.
4.1 Maps with OpenStreetMap
In the property search and on the property pages we show the approximate location of the properties offered on a map. The map tiles are loaded from the servers of FOSSGIS e.V., Germany (tile.openstreetmap.de); the map data comes from the OpenStreetMap project. When the map is loaded, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to this server. We do not set any cookies for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a clear presentation of the location of our offers (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Further information can be found in the privacy policy of FOSSGIS e.V. (German).
4.2 Web analytics with Matomo
With your consent, we analyse the use of our website statistically with the open-source software Matomo. Matomo runs on our own web space (accessible under the domain mein-marken.shop, in the same hosting package as this website); the data collected is not passed on to third parties. We collect the time of the visit, the pages viewed, the page from which you came to us, device and browser information and your IP address, which is shortened by the last two bytes before it is stored. For this purpose, Matomo sets cookies in your browser (_pk_id with a lifetime of 13 months, _pk_ses with 30 minutes). Matomo is not loaded without your consent. The legal basis is your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the privacy settings.
